Huang Miaoqiang was born in 1956 in Guangdong Province. In 1979 he graduated from the oil department of the Guangzhou Fine Arts Academy. In 1993 he received the master''s degree in oil painting from the Guangzhou Fine Arts Academy. Currently he is a professional oil painting artist in Guangdong Foshan Art Institute and member of the Chinese Artists Association.

He is an expert in Still-life. His works have been acquired by private collectors from Italy, America, Japan, South East Asia and various art bodies.
