1957 Born in Shijiazhuang, Hebei province.
1984 Graduated from oil painting department of Hebei Normal University.
1999 Completed a seminar course of oil painting in Central Academy of Fine Arts.

Currently Dong is an art editor of Women's World Magazine, member of China Oil Painting Society.

1993 Solo exhibit held in the Gallery of Central Academy of Fine Arts; Golden October received bronze medal in the “China Oil Painting Annual Exhibition”.
1994 Dongbaliang was selected in the 2nd “China Oil Painting Exhibition”.
1999 Great Scenery received merit award in the 10th “Oil Painting Seminar Course Art Exhibition - Central Academy of Fine Arts” (China National Art Museum).
2001 Participatd “Flow of Dull – Oil Painting Exhibition” (Beijing International Art Gallery).
2002 Cockscomb was selected in the “Study and Beyond Oil Painting Exhibition”.

Golden October was listed in the Vol.4, Oil Painting Section, Collected works of Modern Art of China;
