Wong Chau Tung, also named Wong Han was born in 1944. He is one of the famous Chinese brush painting artists in Hong Kong and is always being invited to exhibit his paintings in various international art exhibitions. His acclaimed works had made him achieved a lot of prizes and high reputation in the art world. Wong is currently the chairman of “The United Association of Artists of Hong Kong”, President of “Hong Kong Culture and Art Exchange Association”. Most of his paintings were collected by exhibition centres, private organizations and individual art collectors.
The prizes that Wong awarded included: Painting Eventide received bronze award from “21 Century Chinese Painting Australia Exhibition”; Carbon Dioxide was selected in “The Third Shenzhen International Brush Painting Bi-annual” (2002); A Visual Cadenza received the excellent prize from “The Tenth National Art Exhibition” (2004); Noon had been selected into “The Fourth Shenzhen International Brush Painting Bi-annual” (2002); Eventide had been invited again to displace in the event of “Chinese Paintings Portrait China” at China Exhibition Centre in Beijing (March 2006); Pearl of Western China had been displaced in the event of “Chinese Brush Painting Portrait Exhibition” at China Exhibition Centre in Beijing; Metropolis had been invited to displace in the first event of “The Whole China Metropolitan and Suburb” (December 2006); Hong Kong Scenic Beauty had been invited to displace in the event of “China Artist Association Brush Painting Exhibition” (January 2007); Pearl of Western China had been displaced in the event of “Chinese Brush Painting Portrait Exhibition “at China Exhibition Centre in Beijing (March 2007). In the same year Wong had also been invited to be the committee councilor of the “Jiangjiong Hongzhou Lotus Beauty Competition”.
